Register to vote in Iowa elections
|
As residents of Waverly, Wartburg students who can legally vote in the United States are eligible to take part in Iowa's elections. The next elections are June 7 primaries for federal, state, and local races. Voters will choose candidates to run in the November general election for the Senate, House, governorship, and more.
If you have an Iowa driver's license, you can register to vote online. If you don't have an Iowa driver's license, you can download the registration form and return it to the county auditor on the first floor of the Bremer County Courthouse, 415 E. Bremer Ave., Waverly. You can register to vote at your polling place on the day of an election, but it's easier to do in advance.
Please note that you may only vote in one location. Therefore, if you register to vote using your Waverly address, you can no longer vote in your hometown elections.
