Like many other institutions throughout the country, Wartburg has chosen to go test-optional due to the pandemic’s effect on high school students’ ability to take the ACT or SAT. The college anticipates that high school seniors are not going to have test scores to provide, and our current standardized test requirement will discourage them from applying. The college will still encourage students to take these exams if they are available, and scores will be used for placement in more advanced college courses.
Other colleges in Iowa that have gone test-optional this year include:

Central College |

Coe College |

Grinnell College |

Loras College |
