Faculty and staff are encouraged to submit ideas to the Innovative Idea Search, the initiative mentioned by President Colson at his State of the College Address, using the button below. Ideas should be focused on creating strategic partnerships that will generate new revenue for the institution. Submissions will be reviewed looking at feasibility, market need, sustainability, and long-term impact. Applications will be open through Feb. 4. Monday, Jan. 21, is a postal holiday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday. The Wartburg Mail Center will be open, but there will be no incoming postal mail, including some Amazon orders, and no outgoing postal mail. HealthPartners Frequent Fitness Program

Beginning Jan. 1, 2019, the Frequent Fitness program provides insured health plan members a reimbursement of up to $20 for working out 12 or more times per month at a participating club (including The W). Two adult members per health plan contract may participate for a combined savings of up to $40 per month. Mandatory Title IX training

All faculty and staff received an email Jan. 10 from Wartburg College with the subject line “Wartburg College has assigned you training Thursday Jan 10, 2019.” This email, which came from automated-message@everfi.net, contained a link to your mandatory annual Title IX training provided through EverFi. If you deleted this email because you thought it might be spam, please retrieve it from your "Deleted Items" folder.
Please follow the steps below to get started:

Click the orange “Log In” button at the top of the email. You will then be directed to Update Profile. |

Click the new password field and create a password. |
• |
Confirm the password. |
• |
Click Save. |
• |
Click the Start button for your assigned training to begin. |

Keep on Learning proposals

The Alumni Office is requesting Keep on Learning proposals for the 2019-20 academic year. The Keep on Learning program offers a series of four-week courses to all residents of the Cedar Valley during seven months of the academic year. All are invited to develop a course proposals for consideration. Click here for more information and to submit proposals. For a hard copy of the proposal form, please contact our office at 319-352-8491. The proposal form will ask for information on the subject matter, a brief summary of the course and an outline of content for each of the four weekly sessions.

Weekday Chapel services are from 10:15 to 10:35 a.m. each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in Wartburg Chapel; Sunday services begin at 10:30 a.m. Chapel time is a brief opportunity to gather with students, staff, and faculty to reflect on God and faith. Interfaith chapels will be held the last Wednesday of each month during the semester.
