Class periods one through six will meet for 50 minutes with a 10-minute break between each. Weekday Chapel will not be held. NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS Innovative Idea Search Faculty and staff are encouraged to submit ideas to the Innovative Idea Search, the initiative mentioned by President Colson at his State of the College Address, using the button below. Ideas should be focused on creating strategic partnerships that will generate new revenue for the institution. Submissions will be reviewed looking at feasibility, market need, sustainability, and long-term impact. Applications will be open through Feb. 4. If you deleted this email because you thought it might be spam, please retrieve it from your "Deleted Items" folder. Please follow the steps below to get started: • Click the orange “Log In” button at the top of the email. You will then be directed to Update Profile. • Click the new password field and create a password. • Confirm the password. • Click Save. • Click the Start button for your assigned training to begin. Keep on Learning proposals The Alumni Office is requesting Keep on Learning proposals for the 2019-20 academic year. The Keep on Learning program offers a series of four-week courses to all residents of the Cedar Valley during seven months of the academic year. Allix Williamson ’16 recently took over as director of operations for the Campbell University wrestling team, as reported by the Fort Dodge Messenger. The men's and women's basketball teams swept Central in a doubleheader, as reported by KNIA/KRLS and the Oskaloosa News. Two Wartburg alumni were chosen by the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier for its "20 Under 40" honors. Lamont Muhammad '06, a teacher at Irving Elementary in Waterloo, is reaching students through hip-hop, as reported by the Courier. Matt Lamos '06, owner of East Bremer Diner in Waverly, helps his staff and community thrive, as reported by the Courier. Kiera Benge-Shea ’16 was one of several students whose research was recognized at the DMU Research Symposium on Dec. 6. Benge-Shea, who is studying to become a doctor of podiatric medicine, completed research on “Surgical Management of Hallux Abducto Valgus Deformity with Concomitant Second Brachymetatarsia.” The Wartburg wrestling team finished third in Division III at the NWCA National Duals in Louisville, Kentucky, as reported by the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier. In the third-place match, No. 2 Wartburg (9-1) handled No. 5 Wabash, 27-13.
