President Becky donates $8,200 in fac/staff challenge
|
President Becky previously issued a $10,000 challenge to full-time faculty and staff to reach 75% participation on UKnight Day. The number of fac/staff donors increased from 173 last year to 205 this year, hitting 82% of our target. As such, President Becky has donated $8,200 toward the UKnight Day total. Additionally, the following areas were recognized for reaching 100% participation:

Wartburg Players to perform 'Midsummer Night's Dream'
|
The Wartburg Players will perform “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, and Saturday, April 6, in McCaskey Lyceum. Enjoy this classic Shakespeare comedy, where a quick jaunt in the woods turns whimsical as fairies interfere in the love lives of mortals. Tickets are $10 at the door or free with Wartburg student ID.

Luther Hall construction set for Monday
|
ITS will have contractors installing two conduit pipes for ethernet cable expansion over Easter break. The contractors will drill holes from the second floor of Luther Hall to the third floor on Monday, April 1, and it will be loud as they bore through the concrete between floors.

Bunce retirement open house planned April 3
|
Kim Bunce, the scholarships and gift planning coordinator in Institutional Advancement, has retired after serving Wartburg for 35 years. Her last official day was March 15, though she will work part time as needed until her replacement is hired and trained. A reception will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, in the Hagemann Castle Room for those who would like to wish Kim well in her retirement.
