Pilot program planned with graduate assistants

Beginning this fall, up to six students pursuing in our Master of Arts in Leadership will be part of a graduate assistant pilot program. This program will cover the cost of graduate tuition and provide a $1,000 monthly stipend. The six areas in the pilot program are football administration, residential life, sports information, academic support, admissions, and development (fundraising).

Priority consideration will be given to candidates who apply by March 1. Graduate assistant position descriptions will be posted with our regular openings at www.wartburg.edu/hr. Positions are open until filled, and students must be fully admitted into the MA in Leadership program prior to being offered a graduate assistant position. A virtual informational session will be given at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20. An in-person meet-and-greet will be held with graduate assistant supervisors from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, in the McCoy Rooms. Email gradstudies@wartburg.edu with any questions.

Master's program now includes tuition guarantee

New enrollees in our Master of Arts in Leadership program will benefit from a tuition guarantee. All credits needed to complete the program will be locked in at the current cost when the student enrolls. Learn more about this guarantee; the new graduate assistant program; and program curriculum, structure, and student experiences at two informational webinars. Join us at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, or noon Friday, Feb. 9. Email michael.gleason@wartburg.edu with questions.

Den opening later until further notice

Due to an unexpected staffing shortage, the Den will open at 9 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. for the foreseeable future. If you know any students looking for morning employment, please direct them to Handshake. If you know anyone looking for full-time work, please direct them to the job listings on the Info Center.
