Condolences, Step Afrika! event
##SENDGRIDOPENTRACKING##

Sept. 21, 2021

Free tickets for Step Afrika! show

Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend Step Afrika! at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, in Lang Hall on the University of Northern Iowa campus in Cedar Falls. Tickets are free, but must be picked up from Krystal Madlock in Wartburg's Student Success Center, on the first floor of Saemann Student Center. Step Afrika! blends percussive dance styles practiced by historically African American fraternities and sororities; traditional West and Southern African Dances; and contemporary dance and art forms into a compelling artistic experience. Wartburg is a sponsor of the event. Please email krystal.madlock@wartburg.edu with questions.

CONDOLENCES

The Wartburg community extends its condolences to Krystal Madlock, director of multicultural student services, on the loss of her mother, Lillian Thomas, who died Sept. 9 in Waterloo at age 82. A memorial service and celebration of life were held last week. Please click here to see the obituary.
