Fully vaccinated? Let our contact tracing team know

If you have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19, please email a photo of your completed vaccination card to covidresponse@wartburg.edu. By having this information on file with the college’s contact tracing team, individuals who provide proof of full vaccination would not be required to quarantine if they were deemed exposed to COVID. Contact Ryan Callahan with questions.

Iowa vaccinations open to all adults starting April 5

All Iowa adults over age 16, including out-of-state and international Wartburg students, will be eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine beginning April 5, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds announced last week. College employees may use any remaining COVID PTO (with supervisor's approval) to take time off to get a COVID vaccine. To find vaccine appointments in Waverly and in nearby locations, these online resources may be helpful:

Use the Vaccinate Iowa site at this link.
Follow @IAVaccineAlerts on Twitter, which sends tweets when it finds new appointments at Hy Vee, CVS or Walgreens locations in Iowa.
Use the Walgreens website to find an available appointment (Waverly has a local Walgreens).
Use the Hy Vee website to find an available appointment (Waverly has a local Hy Vee).
The Juice is a weekly e-newsletter sent Mondays and occasionally during the week as needed to communicate campus news and events. Most items will run twice, then continue to be available in the Information Center.

The deadline for submissions each week is 4 p.m. Thursday. Send items to juice@wartburg.edu. Please keep your submitted item short—no longer than one paragraph—and let us know if your item is for students, faculty/staff, or both audiences. Direct questions to Stephanie Boeding, editor and email marketing manager for Marketing & Communication, at ext. 8760 or via email. If you have a breaking news item that needs to run immediately, please contact the editor via phone or email.
