The Juice (Faculty & Staff) - Dec. 17

Dec. 17, 2018
Wartburg adopts AMS
The college has adopted an assessment management system (AMS) from Chalk & Wire. The system provides students with ePortofolios to collect artifacts that demonstrate their learning and gives educators a tool for assessment. The system is designed to reduce assessment workloads by making the process of improving student learning through outcomes assessment more efficient and effective. Selected faculty and staff will be trained to use the system in February. They will serve as trainers for future users. The first cohort of programs will begin using the system in 2019-20. A list of trainers, the first cohort of programs, and a tentative implementation calendar can be found on the InfoCenter under the AMS header. If you have questions, please contact Dan Walther
