Wartburg Medal nominations
— Faculty and staff are encouraged to nominate individuals or couples who have provided significant, sustained service to Wartburg for the 2015 Wartburg Medal. The guidelines, nomination form, and a list of past recipients can be found online. Nominations are due to the President’s Office by Friday, March 6.

Retirement plan notice
— Wartburg will be completing a Church Plan Status filing with the Internal Revenue Service. This in no way will change how the TIAA-CREF retirement plan works for employees. The college already has elected Church Plan Status and has been operating as such since 2012; the Board of Regents Retirement Plan Committee now feels it prudent to obtain an IRS letter ruling to avoid unnecessary audit fees and paperwork. Click here to read a notice about the Church Plan Status that will be mailed to participants of the retirement plan.

Paycheck process change
 — Paystubs from this month are now available online. They no longer will be sent through the mail. (This change affects those utilizing direct deposit, not those receiving paper paychecks.) Please use the Online Paystub Instructions form on this webpage to familiarize yourself with the process for accessing your paystub.

Flu season
— The flu and cold season has descended on Waverly, and the Noah Campus Health Clinic team is ready to care for any benefit-eligible staff or faculty member and their immediate family. Call 352-8436 to schedule an appointment.
