ETK kicked off the 2017-2018 academic year with a hypnotist, Dan Lornitis. Dan had the audience laughing and the participants mesmerized... literally!
Pete Lee has appeared on VH1's Best Week Ever, the Late Show with David Letterman, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and NBC's Last Comic Standing, etc. He performed for students and their families for Homecoming 2017!
Students enjoyed a beautiful September evening outside on the campus lawn with free t-shirts and tie dye from ETK, as well as music provided by KWAR!
ETK hosted a "Sip and Paint" Knight in November 2017. Talented artists from the local Cedar Valley Art & Wine joined students and taught them how to paint this colorful fall tree.
JR DeGuzman is a musical-comedian that had students laughing with his songs about life after college, his traveling adventures, and family.
Noah Hoehn performed as a marimba ninja, dhal drummer, live looper, and music technology master. Noah enjoyed sharing his music with students in Wartburg's Neumann Auditorium at the start of the academic year!
ETK hosted a Winter Festival in December where students were able to stuff a bear, make ornaments, decorate stockings, and enjoy cookies and hot chocolate. One student even walked away winning the raffle for a Santa suit!
Andrea Gibson is a poet and activist. Gibson's poetry focuses on gender norms, politics, social reform and the struggles LGBTQ people face in today's society.
