The Juice - Sept. 22

Sign up for Wartburg Alert for Outfly notification 📬
##SENDGRIDOPENTRACKING##

Sept. 22, 2020

Change in the Business Office
Tracy Rucker, controller in the Business Office, will be leaving the college on Sept. 23 after 10 years of dedicated service. Tracy will be joining Cedar Valley Hospice as their finance director. During this COVID time, it is challenging to get together to thank Tracy and wish her well on future plans. However, we wanted to let faculty and staff know of this change so those who wanted could reach out “virtually” to her. The College is looking at the Business Office structure and will share new plans as they are developed.
Help needed for Outfly breakfast
It is a tradition that faculty and staff volunteer to serve Outfly breakfast! Even though this year's Outfly will be atypical, we are still planning on breakfast happening. Please click here to indicate that you can help with Outfly breakfast; you will be notified by phone early on the morning of Outfly. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Emma Williams or senate@wartburg.edu. Outfly is always "tomorrow"!
Have you updated your Wartburg Alert account?

Wartburg Alert is the college's emergency notification system. By creating an account, you will be notified by text, email, or phone when an emergency arises on campus. (This also is the earliest method of hearing the official announcement about Outfly when it happens.) Wartburg Alert accounts must be updated each year to remain active. There is no charge for registering, and you may register up to two numbers for text notification and two numbers for voice phones. You are strongly encouraged to register an SMS number to receive a text, which is the quickest and most reliable means of notification. To register, click here and log in using your Wartburg credentials. Contact Jay Tommasin with questions.
