All participants will observe social distancing guidelines, and masks and gloves are required. Please bring your own gardening equipment, masks and gloves if possible. VAC Knights of Service: Final week!

The Volunteer Action Center is issuing its Knights of Service — Four Weeks of Action event by challenging everyone in our Wartburg family (students, faculty, staff and alumni) to uplift our pillar of service. Check the Juice or VAC social media each week for instructions. VAC will provide action steps and templates to use.

Week 4: Offer a Helping Hand

Knights are challenged to offer a helping hand in their community.

If safe, volunteer at your local food bank (Cedar Valley: northeastiowafoodbank.org).
Donate blood at your local blood drive centers (redcross.org or lifeservebloodcenter.org).
Make an offer to help local people who need assistance (contact your local churches).

Post your action on social media tagging @WartburgVAC and using #KnightsofService

Our goal is to provide service to our communities while keeping everyone safe! The events will conclude the week of May 11 with a virtual celebration during the final week of classes! For more information, contact vac@wartburg.edu or kristin.teigtorres@wartburg.edu.
