Friday, May 1, 2020 / Categories: News The Juice - May 1 ##SENDGRIDOPENTRACKING## View in browser May 1, 2020 COVID-19 return-to-work policy updated Effective today, May 1, individuals who return from overnight travel will not be required to self-isolate for 14 days before returning to work on campus unless they have: • Any of the newly expanded symptoms associated with COVID-19. • Had contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19. • Had contact with a person who is being tested for COVID-19. • Had contact with someone who is ill with respiratory symptoms. This change was recommended by the college's Communicable Disease Response Team and approved by Cabinet based on further review of Iowa Department of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control recommendations. Furlough FAQ update The Frequently Asked Questions page regarding furloughs is being updated as needed. One important update: Individuals placed on 100% furlough will not have access to the College’s email, systems, or data while on furlough. If you are trying to reach someone for a work-related purpose, their "out-of-office" email will inform you who to contact in their stead.
