In this Gian Carlo Menotti mini-opera, the Christmas story is retold through the experience of a disabled shepherd boy whose home is visited by the Three Kings on their way to Bethlehem. The production is free and open to the public. Seeking adviser for environmental sustainability program The Environmental Sustainability Program is searching for a new adviser. Jessica Herrmeyer has served in the role for the past year; however, new opportunities for Jessica no longer allow the flexibility for her to serve this role. A list of duties for this adviser role can be found at this link. Anticipated annual hours for this adviser position are approximately 250, with more hours per month being worked during the school year compared to the summer. The individual serving this role will receive appropriate compensation. Any faculty or staff member meeting the criteria below should contact Rich Seggerman no later than Thursday, Jan. 16, if interested in filling the adviser role: • passionate about environmental sustainability, • interested in providing guidance, leadership, and support for the sustainability program and the students working in the program, and • has the time available to serve this role Details about Wartburg's sustainability program can be found at this link. Condolences to Jeff Hemingson The Wartburg community extends its condolences to Jeff Hemingson, maintenance staff, on the death of his mother-in-law, Deloris Laube, who passed away Dec. 19 in Waverly at age 90. Deloris' late husband, John Laube, was once the director of Wartburg's physical plant. Please click here to view the obituary.
