Summer hours will begin Tuesday, May 29, and end Friday, Aug. 24. Wartburg office hours during this time will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. |

Students to present on Religion Across Cultures |
Kayla Phelps and Ali Morrow will be presenting on their RE 373 Religion Across Cultures experiences during Winter Term on Tuesday, May 22, at noon in McCoy East. Kayla studied in Spain, while Ali studied in Chile. All are welcome to attend. |

May Term music concerts |
All are invited to the May Term music concerts this week. The May Term Choir Concert will be at Wartburg Chapel at 4 p.m. Monday, May 21. The May Term Band Concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 26, outside on the South Campus Mall (rain location is in Neumann Auditorium).

Dress your best for the annual Golden Knight Awards and help celebrate the athletic achievements from the 2017-18 school year Monday, May 21, 7 p.m., in the Lyceum. The event will also be streamed on Knight Vision.

Performance appraisal forms |
Performance appraisal forms are available on the InfoCenter under Employment, Forms and Procedures, Performance Appraisal Forms. Wartburg Store to close for inventory |
The Wartburg Store will be conducting its annual physical inventory May 29-June 1. The store will be closed May 31-June 1 to finish this initiative. Thank you for planning visits to the store around these dates. |

Wicked Problems Challenge |
Congratulations to all the students who participated in the college’s first Wicked Problems Challenge. On RICE Day, five groups presented their Wicked Problem ideas to a panel of reviewers. All five groups were accepted into the Wartburg College Incubator for continued work and support into the next academic year. The following projects received funding from the Center for Community Engagement:

- Madison Bloker/Bound Blessings
- Collins Kalyebi/Heritage Kid Pad
The CCE will launch another Wicked Problems Challenge in the fall.
