See your mail from anywhere this summer

Digital mail scanning and notifications will continue over the summer months for faculty and staff. The Mail Center encourages using it to recycle unwanted mail before it is delivered or to see your mail while away from campus. Instructions and FAQs on the digital mail service are available online; email Kory Figura at kory.figura@wartburg.edu with questions.

Want to lead a domestic or international alumni tour?

The Advancement division is considering bringing back alumni tours that would be led by faculty or staff. If you would be interested in volunteering to run a domestic or international tour based on your interests, email alumni@wartburg.edu with a brief description of the tour you envision. For example, Dr. Dan Walther has proposed a “drinking historically” tour that combines his knowledge of German history and love of alcohol. Please submit your ideas by June 3.

Deadline for service data extended

Student organizations, athletic teams, music ensembles, faculty, and staff: Please tell us about your 2023-24 service events and activities. The deadline to submit information has been extended to Friday, May 24. Please email Kristin Teig Torres with questions.

Print Center changing delivery policy

Starting June 1, the Print Center will no longer deliver orders across campus. After receiving an email notification, you can pick up your campus print orders from the bookcase across from the Print Center counter on the first floor of the Saemann Student Center. This change will improve print order tracking and will help ensure no orders are missed. This change will not impact paper deliveries for campus copiers.

Things to say when you’re not feeling fine

What do you say when you’re not feeling OK? Here are a few alternatives:

“I’m actually going through some stuff.”
“Today is not my day.”
“I’m feeling some kind of way.”
