ATM in student center to be removed

The ATM located outside the Security Office will be removed on Friday, Jan. 15. The decision to remove this ATM was made by the bank that operates and maintains it, in part, because of the high replacement cost (the existing ATM has reached the end of its useful life) and the low volume of transactions.

The college is in discussions with another bank that may be willing to locate an ATM on campus, though nothing has been decided. Students, faculty, and staff can cash a personal check up to $200 in the Business Office during normal business hours and can use All Campus Spending (ACS) cards in Dining Services, the Wartburg Store, and some printer/copier and vending machines. Credit and debit cards are accepted in Dining Services, the Wartburg Store, The W, the Mail Center, and the Print Center. There also are ATMs located at the Kwik Star near campus, Casey’s, and First Bank, which is located at 921 W. Bremer Ave.
