Health insurance plan update for 2021
|
Each year at this time, the college receives its health insurance renewal for the upcoming year, and we carefully work through the renewal to determine what changes, if any, should be made. This can be a challenging process as we work through plan design, rates, networks, and carriers. Our renewal with HealthPartners stands at a 10% increase in premiums for 2021. You can click here to learn what that means for your rates and learn more about why this increase was passed along to the college. Please watch for more information regarding open enrollment meetings and how to enroll through our online portal, Employee Navigator. Funeral services for David Hampton
|

The Wartburg community extends its condolences to those who knew and worked with Dr. David Hampton, professor emeritus of chemistry, who died Monday at age 85 in Montevideo, Minn. He taught chemistry at Wartburg from 1962 until his retirement in 2008, and was chair of the Department of Chemistry for 30 years. Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 9, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church & School in Waverly. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Waverly. Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly and an hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
