Free books for Wartburg Book Club

We are looking for more students to join the conversation with the Wartburg Book Club in reading "How to Be an Antiracist” by Ibram X. Kendi during October. Online discussions will begin Thursday, Oct. 1, so visit https://www.wartburg.edu/book-club/#oct to get registered today! Krystal Madlock, director of multicultural student services, has some copies of the book available free on a first-come, first-served basis to students participating in the book club. Contact her via email or stop by her office in Student Life (first floor of Saemann Student Center).

Join Sunday Storytime via Zoom

All students are invited to Sunday Storytime! Every Sunday evening at 9:30 p.m., grab yourself a blanket and hot cocoa and join your faculty-in-residence Dr. Rachel Clark for a bedtime story on Zoom. She is currently reading C.S. Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Click here for the Zoom link. Contact Dr. Clark with questions.

Homecoming giveaway Wednesday

Homecoming Committee invites all students to stop by the campus lawn in front of Old Main from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, for some "be orange" giveaways! We'll have free oranges, Cheetos and Goldfish snacks. Though we won't have our traditional Homecoming & Family Weekend this year, Homecoming Committee is planning some fun student events Oct. 15-18, so stay tuned and follow us on Instagram! Contact Homecoming@wartburg.edu with questions.
