4 fall athletic teams will move schedules to spring

The American Rivers Conference Presidents Council announced today the postponement of four sports from the fall to the spring. Those sports are football, women's and men's soccer, and volleyball. The conference intends to go forward with fall competition in cross country, golf and tennis. Wartburg's clay target sports team will also plan to compete this fall in its inaugural season. The 2020-21 Involvement Fair will take place Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on the Campus Mall (the evening before fall classes begin). More information about the Involvement Fair and registration can be found at this link. To ensure there are enough tables for the organizations participating, please register your organization using the link above no later than Friday, Aug. 21. Questions? The Mail Center has ceased automatic forwarding of mail and packages for returning students. Lockers will only be loaded for those students who are officially on campus per Student Life, and packages and mail will be held in the Mail Center for those students not yet on campus. Mail Center hours are 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. effective Monday, Aug. 10. Please email mailroom@wartburg.edu to check your forwarding address or with other questions.
