Spiritual practices during May Term
|
What is a spiritual practice? How can we grow closer to God in our daily lives? Follow the Spiritual Life & Campus Ministry Facebook page during May Term every Tuesday at 10 a.m. to find out! We will worship through exercise, meditation, cooking and creating. Join us as we focus on the “I am…” statements of Jesus. Contact Rebecca Baird, pastoral intern, with questions.

VAC Knights of Service: Letters to Locals
|
The Volunteer Action Center is issuing its Knights of Service — Four Weeks of Action event by challenging everyone in our Wartburg family (students, faculty, staff and alumni) to uplift our pillar of service. Check the Juice or VAC social media each week for instructions. VAC will provide action steps and templates to use.
Week 2: Writing Letters to Locals
Knights are challenged to write and send five letters of encouragement to those living alone or in retirement facilities (either old-school pen to paper or electronic.) Another option: making calls to those living alone and the elderly. Accept the challenge and post about where you sent the letters on social media tagging @WartburgVAC and using #KnightsofService
Our goal is to provide service to our communities while keeping everyone safe! The events will conclude the week of May 11 with a virtual celebration during the final week of classes! For more information, contact vac@wartburg.edu or kristin.teigtorres@wartburg.edu.
