Knights of Service: Show kindness
|
The Volunteer Action Center is kicking off its Knights of Service — Four Weeks of Action event. We challenge everyone in our Wartburg family (students, faculty, staff and alumni) to uplift the Wartburg pillar of service. Check The Juice each week or our VAC or Service Trips social media each week for instructions. We will provide action steps and templates to use. Our goal is to provide service to our communities while keeping everyone safe!
The events will start TODAY – during what would have been Tour Week — and conclude the week of May 11 with a virtual celebration during the final week of classes!
Week 1: Show kindness in your neighborhood
Knights are challenged to create love and encouragement outside your front door – be creative! Ideas include paper hearts in windows or chalking your walk with happy thoughts.
Take photos of your act of kindness and post on social media tagging Wartburg VAC and using #KnightsofService
