Use Mail Center to deliver to campus offices
|
As the end of the month approaches, faculty and staff are reminded that most offices are not regularly staffed at this time and many employees are working remotely. Employees are reminded to submit forms and communications electronically whenever possible. When submitting hard copies, please bring them to the Mail Center, which will ensure delivery to the appropriate campus offices.

Thank you for being part of UKnight for Students

The Advancement division thanks faculty and staff for being part of UKnight for Students on Thursday by sharing messages of support and giving to the UKnight for Students Fund. So far, nearly 400 donors have given just over $39,000 for the college to accommodate students who have incurred unexpected expenses or experienced financial hardship brought on by the COVID-19 crisis. Click here to learn more; the fund will be open for donations through the end of March. The process for submitting requests to address special circumstances will be shared with students.

Campus food pantry UPDATE
|
Under normal circumstances, St. Elizabeth Bread Basket would serve as a safety net for our students experiencing food insecurity. However, the Northeast Iowa Food Bank, where SEBB obtains the majority of the groceries for students, has limited operations. In the interest of food safety, community donations are limited and most often not available.
In the past, we would purchase them from local grocery stores. As you have likely also experienced, there is now an extremely limited supply of basic food items at nearly every grocery store.
Wartburg's Dining Services is still receiving regular shipments from its food distributor and providing healthy meals to our students every day, weekends included. We encourage any student with dietary restrictions or experiencing any form of food insecurity to speak with Dining Services or Student Life. No student remaining on campus should go hungry. We are here to help. Email jennifer.onuigbo@wartburg.edu with questions. Click here to follow SEBB updates on Facebook.

COVID-19 testing for HealthPartners members
|
If you think you may have acquired or been exposed to COVID-19, you can take a screening assessment online at virtuwell or Doctor on Demand. Both are available 24/7 at no cost to you. If you have additional concerns, contact your primary care clinic.
As a HealthPartners member, you won’t have any out-of-pocket cost for administration of the COVID-19 laboratory test (regardless of where the test is performed). You will also not have out-of-pocket costs related to an in-network office or urgent care visit associated with the test*. Coverage with no member cost sharing will not apply to an emergency room visit. *If the test or office or urgent care visit is done out-of-network, coverage will be applied based on out-of-network benefits.
HealthPartners has also temporarily changed our early refill policy* due to the public health concerns caused by COVID-19. We want to ensure our members have access to adequate medication by allowing for early refills. *For Medicare members we anticipate this will in place as soon as possible.
