Condolences to Karen Koupal

The Wartburg community extends its condolences to Karen Koupal, ITS infrastructure manager, on the death of her mother-in-law, Wanda Koupal, who died Monday at age 80 in Cedar Falls. Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 29, at 11 a.m., at French-Hand Chapel in Reinbeck. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 9 a.m. Please click here to see the obituary.

Food pantry open during Winter Break

St. Elizabeth Bread Basket, the on-campus food pantry, will be open over Winter Break to provide free groceries to any student who needs them. SEBB is located in the Student Life office in Saemann Student Center and will be open the following hours:

Class schedule changes for Ash Wednesday
|
The schedule for the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 26, is as follows: 9 a.m. classes dismiss at 9:50 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. classes begin at 11:00 a.m. Campus offices, including the Den and Konditorei, will close from 9:50 to 11:00 a.m. The class schedule changes to provide time for worship from 10 to 10:50 a.m. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to Ash Wednesday worship with the Imposition of Ashes, Holy Communion, music, and a message by Pastor Brian Beckstrom.
