Important Housing Lottery information for 2020-21
|
It is time to start thinking about signing up for housing for the 2020-21 academic year! The following is a brief overview of the process and important dates. We strongly encourage you to seek more specific information about housing, meal plans and parking/vehicle registration on the Student Life website. If you have any other questions, please contact your RA, Area Coordinator, or the Residential Life office.
All full-time students enrolled at Wartburg College must live on-campus all four years for the full academic year (unless approved by the Residential Life office). Students who choose to reside elsewhere without approval will be charged full room and board costs for the entire academic year, as Wartburg is a residential college.
Attend an information session: March 10 at 8 p.m. in Clinton Lounge and March 12 at 8 p.m. in Centennial Lounge.
Your lottery number and housing card will be sent to you via campus mail no later than March 13. Students with account balances over $1,000 will not receive a lottery number/housing card and will not be allowed to participate in the Housing Lottery. Please visit the Business Office to address balances over $1,000.

SUMMER HOUSING:
To be eligible to live on campus during the summer, a student must be registered for Summer or Fall terms or have completed courses in the previous Winter or May terms. Founders Hall, which has single, double, triple, and quad rooms, will be used for summer housing. These will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. All students who live on campus in summer housing are required to have a board plan. There are 16 room and board combinations during the Summer I and Summer II sessions. Click here to see a document for all available options. Look for information about how to register for summer housing to come out in March.
