Faculty, staff, and students have submitted more than 100 ideas that the cabinet has been investigating and considering, focusing first on revenue enhancement opportunities. Additional ideas will continue to be accepted here. The faculty also have discussed many ideas and prioritized what they believe are the most promising revenue enhancement options. Their ideas and comments were shared with Dean Brian Ernsting and will be discussed by the full cabinet. Because of the work needed to determine the feasibility of these opportunities and to allow the faculty to complete their related work, the original timeline for the overall process has been modified. At the end of this process, which includes collaboration among groups of faculty, staff, students, and the Board of Regents, there will be a new three-year action plan with an updated vision for the college and clear strategies to serve our students, both present and future, more effectively. Questions about the process can be directed to Rich Seggerman and Shawn Ellerbroek, the Faculty Council chair.
