Knights Package Lockers installed
|
Have you gotten a package email or a text with a QR code? These emails are for the new Knights Package Lockers installed this summer, just south of the Den, next to the Mail Center. Some packages will still need to be picked up in the Mail Center, so be sure to check your email for instructions. Package locker emails are sent from LuxerOne. Contact mailroom@wartburg.edu with any questions!

Advancement office part of United Way event
|
Team members from Advancement will participate in the United Way Day of Caring on Wednesday, Sept. 11. The Advancement office (LH 123) will be open on this day, but staffing may be limited.

All are invited to Opening Convocation
|
Opening Convocation is 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, in Levick Arena to welcome the Class of 2023. This year’s speaker is La Toshia Burrell ’07, assistant director of The W for group fitness and personal training and licensed massage therapist. She also instructs a variety of classes as an adjunct professor and advises students in the health and fitness studies major. New students will be seated in chairs on the floor of the arena; faculty will be seated behind the students. Staff, returning students, and guests will be seated in the east bleachers. All are invited to an All-campus Lunch in the Mensa and Saemann Student Center ballrooms following convocation.

Mail service on Labor Day
|
There is no postal, UPS, or FedEx delivery or outgoing on Labor Day, Sept. 2. There will be NO campus delivery runs on Labor Day due to a combination of the service holiday, staffing, and student move-in. Regular campus deliveries will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

GET meal transfers begin on Thursday, Sept. 5. |

All off-campus students who want to be on a board plan must stop in to the Dining Office in Saemann Student Center to fill out a form at the start of each term if wish to be on a board plan. |

Dining Services asks that you verify that you are on the correct board plan once the Fall Term board plans begin. Reminders will be posted. All changes to board plans must be made before 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12.

Burgapalooza: Tailgate Edition
|
Mark your calendars and let’s have some fun! Student Senate will host a tailgate from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, on the Campus Lawn. We will be firing up the grills and providing burgers, veggie burgers and chips prior to the 7 p.m. football kickoff against Monmouth College. All Wartburg students are welcome. Go Knights!

All are welcome at Weekday Chapel services from 10:15 to 10:35 a.m. each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the Wartburg Chapel. Chapel time is a brief opportunity to gather with students, staff, and faculty to reflect on God and faith. Interfaith chapels will be held the last Wednesday of each month during the semester.

Sanctuary on Wednesday nights
|
Sanctuary is a holy space in the midst of your busy life where you can recharge and renew. Expect a relaxed time of Bible study, fellowship, worship band music, prayers, and communion. It takes place on Wednesday evenings at 9 p.m. in the Chapel Commons (basement), starting Sept. 4. Come by at 8:45 for snacks and fellowship. All are welcome!
