Play a possible tie to IS 101
 — Kristin Teig Torres, assistant director of the Center for Community Engagement, will appear in a play that could be used as subject matter for Inquiry Studies 101 courses. Teig Torres, a University of Northern Iowa alumna, will return to UNI's Strayer Wood Theatre to portray the emotionally troubled mother in Lee Blessing’s Independence. Teig Torres suggests the play would be useful to compare to Wartburg's Readings in Common selection, The Other Wes Moore. Both stories tell of a dysfunctional family and the barriers or systems that limit choices. The production hits the stage starting tonight, Oct. 8. Contact Teig Torres at kristin.teigtorres@wartburg.edu for more information.
