Wartburg to host women's basketball tournament

Wartburg will host first- and second-round games for the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship this weekend. The Knights will face the Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors at 7:45 p.m. Friday, March 1, in Levick Arena. The winner will play in the second round at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, against the winner of Illinois Wesleyan vs. Concordia Moorhead (5:15 p.m. Friday). Come out and cheer on the women's basketball team as they enter the big dance!

Volunteers needed for basketball tournament

Volunteers for ticket sales and concessions are needed for the women's basketball tournament. There are three shifts available: 3:30 to 6 p.m. Friday (Illinois Wesleyan vs. Concordia), 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday (Wartburg vs. Wisconsin Lutheran), and 5:45 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday (winners of the previous two games). Volunteers will receive free admission to all games. Please email Steve Walker if you’re willing to help.
