Rosenchor, Festeburg to perform winter concert

Rosenchor and Festeburg are proud to present "Im Advent," their annual winter concert, at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, in Wartburg Chapel. The ensembles will sing individually and together.

All welcome to Jenzabar training next week

ITS will offer training on Jenzabar over three days next week. Everyone is welcome at all sessions. You may attend via Zoom, but if you're in the group of suggested attendees for a given session, you're encouraged to show up in person. The ITS team may send out calendar invites to suggested attendees as well.

Opening Remarks/Jenzabar & Jenzabar One  

9 to 9:15 a.m.

Discuss the benefits of Jenzabar One and how it can fuel digital transformation.

 

The Student Journey

9:15 to 10:15 a.m.

A demonstration of the mobile self-service tools available to students and parents through Registration, Advising, and student success.

 

Communications

10:15 to 11:15 a.m.

A review of the easy-to-use suite of collaboration tools, templates, data settings, and histories designed to increase productivity and communications consistency.

 

Keeping Your Students on Track

11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

A highlight of Jenzabar’s proactive advising tools, including academic planning and student success.  
Suggested attendees: advisers, Registrar's Office, Student Life Office.

Academic & Curriculum Management

1 to 2:15 p.m.

Explore the Student Registration & Records Suite: all aspects of building and managing academic offerings, student records, faculty interaction with rosters, grades, and attendance.
Suggested attendees: advisers, Registrar's Office, Student Life Office.

 

Student Life

2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

How to manage and processes student information, including health record-keeping, housing assignments, vehicle registration, and student conduct.
Suggested attendees: Student Life Office.

 

Data Access, Reporting Tools for Informed Decision-Making, and Analytics

3:30 to 4 p.m.  

Review the information access available within the Jenzabar One system, ad hoc reporting, and natively developed reports (Standard & IPEDS etc.).
Suggested attendees: IR, data enthusiasts.

Tuesday, Jan. 23

Preview of Web Financials

9 to 9:30 a.m.

Review of future J1 Finance new user interface.  
Suggested attendees: Business Office.

 

Student Accounts/Accounts Receivable

9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Review of Accounts Receivable, including student billing and account management, payments/payment plans, tuition and charges calculation engine, and miscellaneous fee assessment.
Suggested attendees: Business Office.

 

General Ledger/Budgeting

10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

A demonstration of the General Ledger and Budgeting modules, covering budget collaboration, budget worksheet setups, and general accounting activities. 
Suggested attendees: Business Office.

 

Purchasing/Accounts Payable/Fixed Assets

12:45 to 1:45 p.m.

A demonstration of the automation in workflow associated with purchases from request through payment processing, vendor management, and fixed asset administration.
Suggested attendees: Business Office.
Lunch will be provided!

Jenzabar Financial Aid

1:45 to 2:45 p.m.

A review of Jenzabar Financial Aid, which provides an automation, packaging, and reporting system to support your date-based, flexible educational program offerings.  
Suggested attendees: Financial Aid Office.

 

Technology and Tools Overview

3 to 4 p.m.

A review of Jenzabar One architecture, product direction, supporting technologies, integration platform, and core systemwide tools, including web forms with approvals, data element flexibility, rules configuration, portal options, document management, and customer technical support resources.
Suggested attendees: ITS, power users.

Wednesday, Jan. 24

Teams Virtual Session

Feedback and Action Plan Discussion

9 to 10 a.m.

A discussion on how to move forward with what we have learned. There will also be a survey sent out after the event if you are unable to attend.
