President requests special favor

As we prepare for the Class of 2027 to join us on campus, President Ehretsman is asking for your help. Our technical crew will be in Levick Arena at noon Friday to do a sound check for Opening Convocation, and we would love for you to join us at the check. Sound carries in different ways when people are in the room, and we want to be sure all our new students can hear us welcome them to their new home.

 

The sound check will only take a few minutes, and when it is over Roland Ferrie, the college’s video production manager, will take advantage of the large group in one space to film a quick welcome video for social media. We look forward to seeing you Friday in Levick Arena!

Dining sets hours for student return

As students return to campus, Dining Services has announced hours of operation:

Friday, Sept. 1

Mensa Breakfast: 6:30 to 8:30 a.m.

Mensa Lunch: 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Mensa Dinner: 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Den: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Konditorei: 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Zesty Orange: 9 a.m to 4:30 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 2

Mensa Breakfast: 6:30 to 9 a.m.

Mensa Lunch: 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Mensa Dinner: 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Den: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Konditorei: 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Zesty Orange: 9 a.m to 4 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 3

Mensa Brunch: 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Mensa Dinner: 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Den: Noon to 6 p.m.

Konditorei: Closed

Zesty Orange: 1 to 5 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 4

Mensa Breakfast: 6:30 to 9 a.m.

Mensa Lunch: 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Mensa Dinner: 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Den: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Konditorei: 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Zesty Orange: 9 a.m to 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 5
Regular Fall Term Hours

Mensa Breakfast: 6:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Mensa Lunch: 10:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Mensa Dinner: 5 to 7 p.m.

Den: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Konditorei: 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., 6 to 8 p.m.

Zesty Orange: 9 a.m to 4:30 p.m.

The first meal on the food plan for first-years is dinner Saturday, Sept. 2. The first meal for all other returning students is breakfast Tuesday, Sept. 5. Points also become active on Tuesday, Sept. 5, and GET meal transfers to the Den start on Thursday, Sept. 7.

 

The last day to make changes to your food plan is Thursday, Sept. 14; contact the Dining Services Office by 4 p.m. that day. Hours listed above are subject to change.

Shirt deadline nears for TriByLittleKnight

TriByLittleKnight, a youth triathlon kids who turn ages 5 to 16 this year, is Sunday, Oct. 1, with a 1 p.m. start time. This event will include Junior and Senior race divisions with chip-timing and division awards. The occupancy limit for this race is 125 athletes, so register today! The registration deadline to guarantee a shirt is Thursday, Aug. 31, and the registration deadline for the race is Tuesday, Sept. 26.
