The Juice - March 4
Our sympathies to family and friends.
Our sympathies to the family and friends of the Rev. Bob Gremmels, who died Feb. 28 at age 94. Gremmels was the great-great-grandson of Wartburg founder Georg Grossmann, and he graduated from Wartburg in 1952. Gremmels later returned to the college as staff in 1960, became an assistant professor of journalism in 1972, and retired in 1994. He was awarded an Alumni Citation in 1970 and the Wartburg Medal in 2014.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 5, at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home, Waverly. Services are at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 6, in the Wartburg Chapel. See the full obituary.
