The Juice (Faculty/Staff) - Dec. 15

Condolences for Norma Geweke
##SENDGRIDOPENTRACKING##

Dec. 15, 2021

Severe weather expected today

We want to make the Wartburg community aware of the forecast later today for a high wind warning, from 3 p.m. this afternoon until 3 a.m. Thursday. The National Weather Service says to expect 30 to 40 mph winds with gusts of 60 to 70 mph. Damaging winds may blow down trees and power lines, and power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult.

Students living in the residence halls are reminded that in the event of severe weather, they should head to the basement of their building. Residents of Knights Village should go across the street to the basement of Centennial Hall. Emotional support animals are welcome to accompany you there, but please keep your animal close to you and take precautions as others near you may have allergies and fears.

Due to the nature of the forecast, students who were planning to leave campus this afternoon and evening may want to reconsider their travel plans and wait until tomorrow to travel. Be safe, Knights!

Print Center will be closed Dec. 20-Jan 2

The Wartburg Print Center will be closed Monday, Dec. 20, through Sunday, Jan. 2, due to staffing. If you have projects that you need this week, please submit today.

Please check out the graphic to see hours for Dining Services locations over the break. Mensa will be closed Dec. 17 through Jan. 8, and the first meal served during Winter Term will be the evening meal on Sunday, Jan. 9.
