On- and off-campus vaccine clinic opportunities

There are at least three nearby vaccine clinic opportunities open to Wartburg faculty, staff, and students. Information about each is listed below:

The college has secured 300 doses of the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) single-dose vaccine (approved for those 18 and older) for members of the Wartburg community on Friday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The vaccines will be administered by HyVee in Levick Arena (enter the building on the campus side and proceed up the stairs to the Levick Arena concourse where additional signage and volunteers will guide you through the process). Click here to secure your time slot. All individuals must wait in the arena at least 15 minutes after receiving the vaccine, so please plan accordingly. This clinic is meant for the Wartburg faculty, staff, and students only. Please do not share this link with others. If you have questions, email covidresponse@wartburg.edu.
The Bremer County Health Department is hosting a Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) single-dose vaccine (approved for those 18 and older) vaccine clinic on Thursday, April 8, from 2 to 6 p.m., in the John Droste Building on the Bremer County Fairgrounds (717 5th Ave. SW). Click here to secure an appointment. No walk-ins will be accepted.
Waverly Health Center will host a vaccine clinic (Moderna or Pfizer) on Thursday, April 8, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The second dose of the vaccine will be given on Thursday, May 6 at the same time. The clinic will be on the Tendrils Rooftop Garden, 312 9th St. SW (use the red parking lot). Click here to register.
