Residential Life has updated their student housing card.
The survey used to have only a few questions. Do you smoke, are you messy or clean, and what time do you go to bed and wake up. Now, the survey has more in depth questions such as your music interests, study preferences, are you interested in living with an athelete or a student of the same major and also to list your hobbies.
Director of Residential Life Wes Brooks says that although the housing card they've used over the past few years has done a darn good job at placing students, their just trying to improve the process thats alreaday really solid.
Brooks said, "It gives more of a feeling to each student that they have the opportunity to express themselves and let us know who they are, 'cause we want to make sure that the students understand that when they come here, their coming to their second home, their home for eight months out of the year. We want to make sure their comfortable in their home."
kThe updated housing card has already been implemented in the Admissions Office when prospective students receive their Wartburg information packet.
