Five families will be moving into newly constructed housing north of Bartles Lutheran Retirement Community.
The new housing is part of ongoing construction of Eisenach Village. Once completed, Eisenach Village will be an independent community living center with 92 town home units for residents to enjoy.
The village will feature a community center and opportunites for residents to see various events on the Wartburg campus.
Eisenach Village offers retirees independent living without the outdoor chores, says Bartles options specialist Jen Wells.
“With Eisenach Village you still get all of the perks of having your own home but without all of the stuff to hold you back, like the shoveling and the mowing and all that good stuff.”
Eisenach village will be located on 20th St. NW. The entire village should be completed in 5-8 years.
