 The weather was pretty good today for our hike. We started at Leo’s house which is on top of a mountain and then hiked down the mountain through the Black Forest to a little village in the valley and then up the next mountain where we rested and met with Leo’s brother, Johnny, for dinner at a traditional German hiking restaurant. I had an amazing meal; this huge piece of steak with onions in a red wine sauce and some noodles. It was really great. There was no way in hell we were hiking back to the house because it was completely dark and freezing by this point, so Johnny drove us home and we hung out until all of Leo’s friends came over. We ate sweets and drank and then played a game similar to Charade’s…in a combination of German, English and Spanish…it was quite the scene, but we all had a fun time. I’m not quite sure what the plans for tomorrow are, but I’m pretty tired so we’ll see.
