Last night the Alvarez’s had a Christmas party to attend so Bridgette and I stayed home with the kids. We made macaroni and cheese and chicken nuggets and watched Wedding Crashers. Best dinner ever. Again, oh the simple things in life!
My flight to Germany leaves this afternoon at 3:15pm. I’m pretty excited. It works out nicely because Bridgette’s parent are flying in today to spend the holidays with the Alvarez’s and so when we go pick them up, I can get dropped off. Hopefully I make it to Leo’s with no problems…I’m nervous/anxious/excited! I can’t wait to see her again. It’s been four years and we always talked about meeting up again after high school (Leo was a German foreign exchange student at my high school when I was in 11th grade) but I never knew when we would, so this will be interesting. I’ll let you know how it goes!
