After my midterm, which I felt I did relatively well, I went to my cultural anthropology class but my mind was elsewhere. After class, I still had to go home, pack, shower and get to the bus station. At this point, we didn’t even know which bus we would be taking. We discovered that the last one runs at 1 but we ended up on the 12:30 which got us to Madrid close to 7 in the morning. Carlos (the man that lives across the hall from me) took Ashley and I to the bus station, which was great since we were cutting it close on time. The bus station was full of sketch balls…I’m pretty sure the majority of the people there were carrying their whole lives in bags. It was kind of odd, but once we got our spots, we slept with our purses in our laps and the whole deal. It was a fairly restless ride, I tried to sleep, but it was difficult with the trip on my mind. I just kept hoping everything would go smoothly.
