What is Dance Marathon?

You’ve heard of a walkathon, well this is taking it to the next level. Wartburg College Dance Marathon is the newest philanthropic event on campus raising money for the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital through Children’ Miracle Network. The event consists of live music, games, dancing, entertainment, stories from local families benefiting from the program and a lot of fun.

How do I get involved?

It’s simple. All you have to do is sign up to be a student dancer. Dancer responsibilites include paying a $10 registration fee, raising a minimum of $100 (100% of which will go the organization) and attending the event. There's no registration deadline, but make sure to sign up early.

How do I donate?

There are two ways to donate. You can pledge money to a specific dancer or make a general donation to the event as a whole. All proceeds go to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital and assist children and families dealing with cancer.
