The Wartburg women’s tennis team hosted Div. II Upper Iowa and defeated the Peacocks 6-3.
The men’s tennis team went 1-2 last weekend in the Quad Cities Tennis Club tournament hosted by Augustana College.
The Wartburg men’s tennis team traveled to Mount Vernon on Saturday and defeated Cornell College 6-3 and defeated Westminster College, in (Mo.), 6-3 as well. This improved the Knights overall record to 7-4 and 2-0 in the Iowa Conference.
For the fourth time in five years, the Knights men’s tennis team walked away with a fourth place finish at the Iowa Conference tournament.
The Knights women’s tennis team topped Simpson College during Iowa Conference play Saturday 8-1.
The Wartburg men’s tennis team started their season off by splitting a pair of games in Madison, Wis. Saturday dropping a 7-2 loss to St. Norbert and beating Concordia (Wisc.) 5-4.
Jenny Dallenbach and Claire Evans won individual conference titles on Saturday at the Iowa Conference Women’s Tennis Individual Tournament in Cedar Rapids.
