The Wartburg men’s basketball team had another undefeated week as they topped Simpson Saturday, 71-60, and Luther Wednesday, 66-61.
The women’s basketball team maintained its undefeated status topping the Coe Kohawks 66-62 Saturday and Central Dutch in a 72-71 nailbitter Wednesday.
Led by a balanced attack on the offensive end of the floor, the Knights dispatched the Simpson Storm by a final score of 85-71 Saturday.
Both Knights’ basketball teams will be advancing to the IIAC Tournament Championships after beating their second round foes Thursday night. The men advanced after upsetting Buena Vista, 85-81, while the women topped Loras, 61-54.
