The Juice (Faculty/Staff) - June 11

June 11, 2018
Holiday calendar for 2018-19
The Holiday Calendar for 2018-19 has been posted on the InfoCenter. Click on Employment, Forms and Procedures, Payroll and Personnel Forms. Because the New Year’s Day holiday falls on a Tuesday in 2019, the College is granting an additional holiday on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018. Please check with your supervisor, as some departments must be open on that date with operations critical to the college.
NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS

Tree removal on campus
In the next week, several trees on campus will be marked for removal. Many are ash trees infested with the emerald ash borer, and others are succumbing to age and other weaknesses. We are anticipating removal to happen the last two weeks of June. Please avoid areas where the removal is occurring. The Landscape and Natural Resource Committee will review replacement of the trees (species and location). Follow Sustainability at Wartburg on Facebook for the most up-to-date information.
Homecoming scheduling deadline
Is your department or group hosting a reunion, reception, or open house during Homecoming & Family Weekend 2018? The Office of Alumni and Parent Relations is working on the schedule and needs to hear from you about those plans to ensure they are included. Email details to alumni@wartburg.edu by Wednesday, June 20.
