Incomplete grade policy
— With the arrival of finals week, remind students an incomplete grade is not valid unless it is supported by a Student Request for Incomplete Grade form. Form completion should be initiated by the student to confirm communication with the instructor regarding the incomplete grade policy. The form is available on My.Wartburg or in the Registrar’s Office, Luther Hall 216. Refer students to the incomplete grade definition from the academic catalog. An incomplete grade submitted without support of the form will be changed to an F. Incomplete grades should only be issued for students who are passing the course when final grades are due. With permission from the Registrar's Office, instructors can complete the form for a student whose circumstances prevent them from submitting the form. The form is encouraged, but not required, for internships, field experiences, or venture education courses.
