Click on a link below to nominate individuals for the various leadership and service awards recognized by the college. Criteria for selection are included on each form. Nominations are due Friday, February 9, 2018. Awards are handed out at the Leadership & Service Awards Ceremony on Saturday, March 17, 2018 - 1 p.m. in the Lyceum with a reception to follow in the Ballrooms.
Nobility Award (Student/Faculty/Staff Nominated)
Each year, Wartburg College awards non-senior ranking students who have demonstrated outstanding qualities of service, scholarship, leadership and strong moral character. This is an excellent way to recognize students who are instrumental in the success of your organization or enhance the college experience in general. More than one nomination is permitted.
Outstanding Organization (Student/Faculty/Staff Nominated)
This annual award is given to a college-recognized group, which has used successful leadership techniques to advance its organization.
Outstanding International Senior (Student/Faculty/Staff Nominated)
This award honors a senior international student who has best demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence, to involvement and service in the campus community, and to leadership in the international student community.
Dell Awards for Peace and Justice (Student/Faculty/Staff Nominated)
The Dell Awards honor five senior students for noteworthy contributions to peace and justice. They also honor a member of each of the other classes as "Peacemakers."

The Peacemaker award honors a member of each class for noteworthy contributions to peace and justice.
Outstanding Organization Service Award (Student/Faculty/Staff/Community Partner Nominated)
The Outstanding Service Award will be given to a college group which has successfully demonstrated community service through participation and dedication to the greater Wartburg Community. Formally recognized student groups and informal student groups (residence hall floors, suite projects, groups of friends, and individual service trips, etc.) are encouraged to apply.
Outstanding Organization Advisor Award (Student Nominated)
This annual award is given to an individual that serves as an advisor to a recognized Wartburg student organization.
Debbie Heida Award (Faculty/Staff Nominated)
The Debbie Heida Award recognizes a junior or senior student who has made significant contributions to the Wartburg community in the co-curricular arena.
Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges (Faculty/Staff Nominated)
This award recognizes outstanding achievement among the senior class. Any senior student meeting the criteria for selection, including most recent December graduates if not previously selected may be nominated. Recognition is competitive and Wartburg is given a quota for its nominations.
