Tickets on sale now to see Brett Eldredge Oct. 4

Brett Eldredge, the 2014 CMA New Artist of the Year, will perform at Wartburg on Tuesday, Oct. 4, as Entertainment ToKnight’s 2016 Large Event (#LargeEvent16). The concert will begin at 8 p.m. in Levick Arena and features singer Brett Young as the opening act.
 
All tickets are on sale online or available at the Ticket Office (M-F, 10am-Noon) for $20 each. (The special price for student/faculty/staff tickets ended Sept. 19.)

Doors will open at 7 p.m. Oct. 4. All seats are general admission. Please note that the following are NOT permitted at the concert:

  • Purses/bags 
  • Spiked heels 
  • Food/drink 
  • Re-admittance 
  • Photography (professional cameras)

Eldredge’s debut album, “Bring You Back,” yielded three No. 1 hits — “Don’t Ya,” “Mean to Me,” and “Beat of the Music.” His sophomore album, “Illinois,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Album Chart and No. 3 on the all-genre Billboard 200 Album Chart. The record already has produced two No. 1 singles, “Lose My Mind” and “Drunk on Your Love.” 
 
Most recently, Eldredge was a nominee for the 2016 ACM Awards Male Vocalist of the Year.
 
The first single off Young’s self-titled debut album is “Sleep Without You.”

Student Movie NIghts

Student movie nights are held the first Wednesday of every month at 10:30 p.m. at the Palace Theater in downtown Waverly. Doors open at 10 p.m.

Event Co-Sponsorship/Money Request

Guidelines for Request:

  • The form must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the event.
  • The event MAY NOT conflict with another ETK event.
  • The event must be opened to ALL Wartburg Students.
  • There must be a Faculty or Staff “advisor”.
  • Co-Sponsorship is considered to be a monetary request, event assistance or promotion for an event.
  • The event must be a form of entertainment.
  • There must be an evaluation after the event sent to ETK stating your opinions of the event and any other additional information such as number attended and feedback.
  • If this co-sponsorship is to provide direct funding to a vendor and/or an entertainment act, a copy of the invoice and/or contract must be provided with the initial submission of the co-sponsorship form.
