What is igKnight?

igKnight, formerly known as the College Achievement Program (CAP), is a peer mentoring program for Wartburg College students.  The program itself focuses on mentoring (intentional one-on-one relationships that foster growth in both the mentor and mentee) students wherever they are in their college experience.  This means anyone, in any year (1Y, 2Y, 3Y or 4Y) can sign up to be partnered with a mentor.  The igKnight Mentoring Program was created to help students pursue and meet their academic, personal, and professional goals.

Who will Mentor Me?

Participants will sign up for the program as a mentee and be partnered with a mentor.  Once the igKnight Mentor application is complete, students will be assigned to mentor based on the criteria they provide in their application.  igKnight Mentors are successful 2nd, 3rd, or 4th students who have been trained to assist students in a variety of ways (see how you can benefit from igKnight below).  Mentors then serve as role model to their mentees throughout the remainder of the academic year.

How will I benefit from igKnight?
