Below are resources to help you in the career exploration and preparation process. This partial list will hopefully help you as you develop and achieve your career related goals. One Small Planet – A guide to working, studying, traveling, and volunteering overseas.
AIESEC – AIESEC also runs an exchange program that enables over 3,500 students and recent graduates the opportunity to live and work in another country.
Visas: Find the Best – Find Organizations that filed H-1B Visa applications by State.
H1VisaJobs.com – Contains a database of American firms, all over the US, in all disciplines, who have known openings, are willing to, and actually offered H-1B jobs to international professionals. There is a fee to gain access to the database.
InternationalStudent.com – The resource section on InternationalStudent.com provides students with access to a number of powerful resources to assist you in your quest to study abroad. The majority of the resources are provided to you free of charge.
U.S. Department of Labor’s Certification Data Disclosure - This site will help you find out which companies applied for H-1B visa for one or more employees in the past few years. This will give you some ideas of employers open to having international employees working for them. You can search by year, employer or state.
