Office of the Registrar

RO Support Services

The Registrar's Office maintains the integrity and accuracy of academic records to support each student from enrollment to graduation and beyond, establishing the connection between students and faculty and the curriculum.  The RO works with an array of constituents within and outside the campus community which includes faculty, staff, and parents as well as federal organizations to monitor and administer college policies with respect for academic standards and requirements.  The items below represent some of the services offered by the RO within the following service areas: Academic Records, Compliance & Articulation, Registration, Classroom Scheduling, Technology Services, Curriculum & Catalog, Cross-functional Campus Programs.

Provides academic transcript services
Maintains student data to support academic records which includes processing name changes and address changes
Builds class schedules and assigns rooms
Verifies enrollment and degree completion
Monitors enrollment and works with students to maintain academic progress toward degree completion
Provides curriculum maintenance which includes management of the online academic tools and information to include the online academic catalog and the Advising Worksheet
Manages waitlists with respect for student enrollment needs and degree completion
Confirms completion of academic requirements for conferring of degrees
Generates and distributes diplomas
Maintains the Transfer Equivalency System (TES) to support the review of transfer credits for previous academic programs and requests for degree credit for matriculated students
Reviews and develops processes for implementation of articulation and consortium agreements
Certify enrollment for students receiving Veteran benefits

Enrollment Status

Full-time students enroll in:

  • 3.00-4.50 course credits (cc) in Fall Term
  • 4.00 - 5.75 cc in Winter/May Term (3.00 - 4.50 in the Winter term and 1.0-1.25 in the May term).
Part-time students enroll in: 
  • 0.25- 2.75 course credits
Overload students enroll in:
  • 4.75 cc or more
For the Winter/May Term, enrollment status is determined by the course credits students have registered for in the Winter Term. Students must be enrolled in one May Term course per academic year. Overload for May Term is more than 1.25 cc.
