Purpose: The Outstanding Service Award will be given to a college group which has successfully demonstrated community service through participation and dedication to the greater Wartburg Community. Formally recognized student groups and informal student groups (residence hall floors, suite projects, groups of friends, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

Who may qualify:  Any formal or informal Wartburg College student group (including residence hall floors, suite projects, groups of friends, individual service trips, etc.)

The Service Trip Executive Board and the Volunteer Action Center are ineligible. Individual Service Trips are eligible.

Who may nominate:  Any Wartburg College faculty, staff, student or community partners of Wartburg College


Criteria:
• Group actively participates in community service
• Displays leadership development on or off the Wartburg College campus
• Consistently promotes community interaction
